About Tennyson
The area was originally named Softstone by one of the original settlers James Strong, but was changed to Tennyson in 1897 after the British poet Alfred Tennyson.
Today, Tennyson boasts a pleasant atmosphere with some of Brisbane’s most expensive riverside real estate along King Arthur Terrace.
